sexism over young girls in kickboxing

Here’s the link where the Today show criticized one father for allowing his “little girl” into the kickboxing ring.  This clip was specifically focused on the fact that she was a little GIRL, not just a young kid (which I can understand because 7 year olds with concussions seems like not a good idea).  But think about all the kids’ hockey and football teams or even kickboxing.  It always surprises me to see sexism as blatant as this on national television (although I’m not sure why it does…).  Its complete nonsense that we still can’t get over the fact that little girls CAN do whatever they want, if they want to do ballet and kickbox, then LET THEM.  fucking assholes…
