Its not enough we say something is dehumanising—Black women are worth so little you get to vote. Because if your not hurt or offended, then why should it matter the people its aimed at don’t like it. Black women don’t get to have a say on our humanity. If we don’t like something, tough shit

Some how a black face mammy image meant to be racist and dehumanise Black people ( Black women in particular) isn’t racist. What the fuck, world? We don’t get to VOTE on something like that. We don’t get to say if SOMEONE ELSE should find something dehumanizing. What we get to do is listen to the people this actually affects.
