Why I am swearing off of makeup:
1. I will not buy into a culture that oppresses me.
2. I will not buy into a culture that tells me I am not good enough; I will not support an industry that thrives on my insecurity.
3. I will not advertise such an industry on my face.
4. Men don’t hide their flaws; why should I?
5. It is not my responsibility to be pretty.
